I was looking for the bathroom when I saw The Logan. They are a three-some that were playing in the main stage of the Viper Room a Father’s Day ago.
Their sound was fast, hard and intoxicating. It screamed “KD Rock Junkie.”
Their singer was not visible from the angle of which I stood so I moved to get a better view. That's when I noticed who was doing the very loud screaming type of singing.
It was the drummer! I reached for my camera but was told to "put that away," by a security guard.
After he explained the whole wristband theory I thought it too big of a deal to get turned down by both...both guys at the bar.
"Be your own man." The singer continued. There was smooth break down shortly followed by, “He tried to (#@cK*) you!”
The guitarist played a Gibson with a Marshall stack. His girlfriend, Lemi Wright, told me his name. She was impressed by the way I spelled her name correctly. After all she only said it once in the middle of an extremely loud set of power and message.
I ran into the fellows outside the Viper Room where they politely gathered for a Kinetics Direct picture.
